Problem Note 17821: Unable to select and delete partial lines in Enhanced Editor of SAS® Enterprise Guide®
The Alt key can be used to select text across multiple lines in the Enhanced Editor (Code window) in SAS Enterprise Guide which allows you to cut, copy, or delete the selected area. This feature does not work correctly in SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1. There is no circumvention for this issue, although you can still select one or more complete lines to cut, copy, or delete. And, you can still select a single partial line of text to cut, copy, or delete.
This problem will also occur in the SAS System if SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1 is installed on the same machine.
